Turbomolecular Pumping Stations

T-Station 75 Turbomolecular Pumping Stations

United with the EXT75DX turbopump, the T-Station 75 turbomolecular pumping station produces pumping speeds of 42 l/s – 61 l/s with a dry pump or oil-sealed pump and a simple controller.

A perfect product for general laboratory requirements, the T-Station 75 is designed with a Turbo and Active Gauge (TAG) controller, which provides the ability to control active gauges*, a vent valve*, delayed start of the turbopump to time or pressure if a gauge is fixed, and most importantly, a distinct start/stop button for the system.

Key Features
  • Compact: Reduced footprint
  • Fully Assembled: No systemisation needed
  • Robust Construction: Reasonable cost of ownership
  • Separate purchase of Gauges and TAV5 vent valve required.
  • The E2M1.5 or XDD1 high-capacity backing pumps provide options for a completely dry diaphragm pump or an oil-sealed pump.
  • In-built air cooler reduces operational noise by replacing multiple fans and also cools the internal power supply.
New Custom TAG (Turbo and Active Gauge) Controller Features
  • Distinct start/stop button for ease of automated performance.
  • Easy-to-read display shows turbo speed in percentage.
  • Control of a single active gauge, including AIM, ASG, APG100, or WRD, with no additional cost for gauge display.
  • Automatic start-up for large systems with delayed turbo start by time or when gauge is fixed to pressure.
  • Automatic venting with the TAV5 vent valve, selectable via vent mode.
  • Available with NW40, ISO63, or CF63 inlet flange, depending on application requirements.
Optimum Flexibility with TAV5 Vent Valve Modes
  • Controlled vent from 100%, then hard vent at 50% speed.
  • Hard vent at 50% speed.
  • Fan mode, ideal for applications where venting is not required, or with an air cooler for remote pump mounting while providing continuous power to the socket.

Turbo Pumping Stations

An all-inclusive solution for all vacuum needs, the Edwards range of nEXT turbomolecular pumping stations is designed with state-of-the-art technology for easy installation and high performance.

These pumping stations are combined with the TIC turbo and instrument controller, providing an automated start/stop function and seamless integration with Edwards Active Gauges.

Key Features
  • Designed to Your Needs: A wide variety of turbomolecular and backing pump choices.
  • Fully Assembled: No systemisation necessary.
  • Simple Operation: Smart and easy-to-use controls with serial communications.

We offer the EXT75DX pump with pumping speeds from 42 l/s to 66 l/s. Additionally, for enhanced user serviceability and flexibility, we provide the option to back the pump and pair it with a TIC200 controller, achieving pumping speeds from 240 l/s to 400 l/s.

An industry-standard oil-sealed pump generally includes an EMF mist filter, while the nXDS dry scroll pump typically comes with an isolation valve between the backing pump and turbo pump.

Turbo Pumps

At Edwards, our priority is to deliver unparalleled vacuum pump performance for the most challenging applications. This is why we have designed the nEXT technology to provide an entirely new experience in the turbo pump industry, maximizing performance.

The nEXT rotor eliminates the conventional approach of delivering either high speed or high compression. Instead, its upgraded blade arrangements maximize both speed and compression, setting a phenomenal benchmark for pumps of its size.

Pump Ranges:
  • EXT75DX
  • nEXT 240 D or T
  • nEXT 300 D or T
  • nEXT 400 D or T

We offer a range of pumps to suit your needs, whether it’s a cost-effective oil-sealed pump or a completely dry system. Our extensive selection of backing pumps for turbo pumping stations is here to meet your requirements.
